MultiAuth Pricing

Multi-factor authentication and passkeys, billed per monthly active authenticated user.

Pricing Philosophy

Sovio pricing is based on trust operations, not user seats. Your cost scales with the number of verifications, credentials, signals, consent records, or ecosystem participants you process - not the number of employees or end-users you onboard. This ensures that pricing remains predictable as your identity infrastructure grows and aligns cost with the value you derive from each trust transaction.

What Counts for Billing

MultiAuth billing is based on Monthly Active Authenticated Users (MAU). A user who completes at least one successful authentication in a calendar month counts as one MAU. Multiple authentications by the same user within the month do not increase the count. Failed authentication attempts are not billed. Device registration, passkey creation, and TOTP setup are included at no additional cost.

FAQs

What counts as a monthly active authenticated user?
A user who completes at least one successful authentication in a calendar month. A user who authenticates multiple times still counts as one MAU for that month.
Do failed authentication attempts count?
No. Only successful authentications count toward MAU billing. Failed attempts are logged but not billed.
Are passkeys billed differently from TOTP?
No. All authentication methods are billed under the same MAU metric. Passkeys, TOTP, and backup codes are included in every plan.
Can we mix plans across applications?
Yes. Each application can be assigned a different plan. Billing is aggregated per account.
How is device registration handled?
Device and authenticator registration is included within each plan at no additional cost. There is no per-device billing.
