What Counts for Billing

Setu billing is based on a platform licence plus the number of ecosystem participants. The platform licence covers the trust registry infrastructure, governance tools, and API layer. Each entity registered in the registry — issuer, verifier, wallet provider, or governance body — counts as one participant. Trust registry queries are included within plan limits.

Each entity registered in the trust registry — issuers, verifiers, wallet providers, and governance bodies — counts as a participant. Participants are billed monthly.
What counts as a trust registry query?
Each programmatic query to resolve an entity's trust status — including trust list lookups, entity configuration resolution, and status checks — counts as one query.
Is the platform licence separate from participant billing?
Yes. Setu pricing consists of a platform licence fee plus per-participant fees. The platform licence covers the registry infrastructure, APIs, and governance tools.
Does the Starter plan support the TRQP standard?
TRQP (Trust Registry Query Protocol) and OIDC Federation are supported in Growth and Ecosystem plans. Starter provides REST-based queries.
Can multiple ecosystems be managed under one account?
Yes. Growth plan supports up to 5 separate ecosystems. Ecosystem plan supports unlimited ecosystems with full data isolation.
